After only a four day courtship, Roxy impetuously decides to marry Private First Class Trevor LeBlanc and moves with her two kids to his Army post. Floundering in her new life as an Army wife, she takes a job bar-tending at an off-post bar. Claudia Joy holds a 4th of July picnic at her home but the celebration is marred by the bad news Pamela receives. Joan considers retiring rather than face a court martial and Roland goes to Col. Holden on her behalf.
